
Yesim Bayar is an Assistant Proffesor of Sociology at St. Lawrence University, New York. She is a political sociologists with research interests in empires, nations and nationalism, and minorities. She has published extensively on these issues in academic journals including Nations and Nationalsm, Journal of Historical Sociology, Nationalities PApers, and Nationalism and Ethnic Politics. Her book, Formation of the Turkish Nation-State was published by Palgrave/Macmillan.
