Zoya Phan, International Coordinator of the human
rights organization, Burma
Campaign UK, and one of Burma's leading democracy activists in
Europe, is from the Karen ethnic group. When she was 14 Burmese army soldiers
attacked her village, and she and her family were forced to flee. She is now a
refugee living in London. Her autobiography is published as ‘Undaunted’ in the
USA, and ‘Little Daughter’ in the rest of the world. She is recognised as a
Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
