Anthony Barnett (London, [OK](http://ourkingdom.opendemocracy.net/2007/05/09/britain-to-have-a-written-constitution/?ref=opendemocracy.net)): An interesting post for historians of the web and eDemocracy in Britain by [David Wilcox](http://www.designingforcivilsociety.org/2007/06/edemocracy%5Fproj.html?ref=opendemocracy.net) on the start of UK Citizens Online Democracy in 1996, a charity which has just been [revived](http://www.ukcod.org.uk/UK%5FCitizens%5FOnline%5FDemocracy?ref=opendemocracy.net) by the folks behind [MySociety](http://www.mysociety.org/?ref=opendemocracy.net). It also leads you to a marvellous picture of a fresh Prime Minister saying, "I support this initiative to help modernise and enhance British democracy and open up Government".
