**Jon Bright (London,** [**OK**](http://ourkingdom.opendemocracy.net/2007/05/29/no-gordon-its-our-institutions-that-define-us/?ref=opendemocracy.net)**):** Watch the LSE's Simon Davies discussing the details of the Future Britain project with Unlock Democracy here. Avoid looking at the empty chairs. He talks about how they hope to set out the "bedrock principles" for the government's national conversation and that they are convening their advisory committee to report on this by, if possible, 7 October before Parliament reconvenes. (OurKingdom's Anthony Barnett thought he had been invited to be a member of the advisory committee but knew nothing about these plans, perhaps the empty chairs are a subtle signal.)
