JZ has written an important new book: "The Future of the Internet (and how to stop it)". The PDF can be [downloaded here](http://futureoftheinternet.org/static/ZittrainTheFutureoftheInternet.pdf?ref=opendemocracy.net), and you can [buy it here](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0300124872?ie=UTF8&tag=jonatzittr-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0300124872&ref=opendemocracy.net) But it has a beautiful HTML edition [here](http://yupnet.org/zittrain/?ref=opendemocracy.net).

This really inspires me to do something I've been looking for an opportunity to do for a long time --- do a group online annotation of an important book. If you'd like to join in, please [email me](mailto:tony.curzonprice@opendemocracy.net) and I'll tell you how we'll go about it.

I blogged a lecture I saw JZ give on the topic, [here](https://www.opendemocracy.net/blog/tony%5Fcurzon%5Fprice/from%5Fzittrain%5Fto%5Faristotle%5Fin%5F600%5Fwords). You can see the passion the subject aroused by looking at the [Slashdot](http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/03/09/1545248&from=rss&ref=opendemocracy.net) thread it provoked. This is important stuff.

It will center around using [diigo.com](http://diigo.com/?ref=opendemocracy.net), rather than the note-taking feature on the HTML edition, because of diigo's nice research-centered features.

[Email me](mailto:tony.curzonprice@opendemocracy.net) to join in --- when we're done we'll have a digest of the book and a trace of our commentary and opinion.
