He presents most of the counter-arguments himself, but the secretary-general of [Civicus](www.civicus.org), Kumi Naidoo, [still holds](http://www.ipsterraviva.net/tv/wsf2006/viewstory.asp?idnews=462&ref=opendemocracy.net) that the WSF should agree on forceful communiqués and proposals that create unity and make joint-strategising easier. This goes against the Forum's current stated purposes.
