Barack Obama's more traditionally "liberal" acceptance speech in Denver confirmed to many commentators, like [David Brooks](http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/09/opinion/09brooks.html?ref=opinion), that the Democrat's campaign is now becoming increasingly conventional, replacing high-mindedness with political shrewdness. This recent ad seems to support the notion of a "normalising" Obama campaign, as it takes the offensive against John McCain and Sarah Palin.
