A notice – and an apology - about missing comments

Past comments on some parts of the site are no longer displaying - we are trying to resolve this issue

It has come to our attention that a number of comments posted last week and earlier in reply to articles from the following sections are no longer displaying:

- Transformation

- Can Europe Make It?

- Arab Awakening

- oD Blog

- openGlobalRights

- OurNHS

The comments were not deliberately removed by openDemocracy moderators – there is a technical problem that we’re aware of that has led to their disappearance.

We’re in contact with Disqus about this and we’re doing our best to try and get the missing comments restored.

We really appreciate the contributions that you make beneath the articles and we can only apologise to the readers and authors affected. We hope to get this issue resolved soon.

We know which parts of the site have been affected, but if you are particularly concerned about a comment of yours that has gone missing please contact [email protected].

Apologies again.
