Lewisham hospital downgrade - an 'insult to democracy'

On Saturday 55 people testified to the Lewisham People's Commission of Enquiry into the decision to downgrade or close services including A&E. In his closing speech, Chair Michael Mansfield QC highlights the lack of political accountability saying "the public are no longer going to put up with oppressive dictats from government".
