Who is behind the government's proposals to radically reform the NHS? Well, take a look at those that stand to benefit.

That's exactly what [Spinwatch](http://www.spinwatch.org.uk/about-spinwatch-mainmenu-13/4428-what-is-spinwatch?ref=opendemocracy.net) has done, an independent organisation that monitors the impact of spin and public relations on society. Their short film takes us on a tour of the offices of just some of the healthcare companies, lobbying agencies and think tanks who have pushed for the White Paper 'Liberating the NHS' currently making its way through Parliament.

[The Health Industry Lobbying Tour](http://vimeo.com/18907486?ref=opendemocracy.net) from [Mancha Productions](http://vimeo.com/user5073253?ref=opendemocracy.net) on [Vimeo](http://vimeo.com/?ref=opendemocracy.net).

The physical closeness of these offices, walking distance away from each-other and from Parliament, parallels the 'cosy culture' between our politicians and the private health industry.

To get the changes to the NHS that are in their interests, these companies have been busy employing politicians, including former health ministers, hiring lobbying agencies full of government insiders, and paying think tanks close to the Conservative Party.

They are very close to getting what they want.
