After the North Carolina Legislature passed voting restriction laws earlier in 2013, a Burlington schoolgirl called Madison Kimrey launched a new organization called “North Carolina Youth Rocks” to encourage young people to take action in state politics.
Here she is in action, protesting against the end of programs that pre-register teenagers to vote when getting their driver’s license or through their high schools.
