
Alice Maciel is a reporter for the Brazilian outlet Agência Pública in Brasilia, focusing on politics, human rights and the environment. She worked for the Brazilian newspapers Estado de Minas and Diário do Comércio, and has been a contributor to O Globo, Intercept Brasil and Bloomberg. She won the Délio Rocha Award for Public Interest Journalism (2016 and 2019), the Ortega y Gasset Journalism Award (2020) and the Vladimir Herzog Journalism Award for Amnesty and Human Rights (2020).
