Dr. Waddell’s research focuses on the relationship between human development, migration, and crime. He lives in Managua, Nicaragua, where he serves as the academic director for the School for International Training’s program Nicaragua: Youth Culture, Literacy, and Media.

Benjamin James Waddell is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Adams State University and teaches in the areas of racial and ethnic relations, education, social psychology and social inequality.
