Jessica Taft is an assistant professor of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She is the author of Rebel Girls: Youth Activism and Social Change Across the Americas and is currently writing a book on intergenerational relationships and children’s political subjectivity in the Peruvian movement of working children.
