Film: Martin Rees speaks to TalkWorks on nuclear disarmament, threats confronting humanity in the 21st century and what must change as part of the 2013 Global Perspectives series.

Part 2: Threats from emerging 21st century technologies

Martin Rees warns of the risks of a major catastrophe from the misuse, by 'error or terror', of developing technologies; and the particular concern that they empower a small number of people, even a lone individual, to inflict severe, even global damage in our ever more vulnerable and interconnected world.
