Women and Memory: “I’m the Story”
The Women and Memory Forum based in Cairo aims to re-read Arab tradition and cultural history in order to promote a society based on justice and equal opportunities for men and women. One of the ways the forum works is through public story telling performances. Jane Gabriel has been in Cairo to meet the writers and actors.
I'm the Story was performed in the Wekkalat el-Goury Theatre, Cairo in June 2008.
