OurBeeb forum session 1: funding and the licence fee

About the authors

Lis Howell is Deputy Head of the Journalism department at City University and Director of the TV and Broadcasting Courses. She was Head of News at Border Television and won a Royal Television Society award for leading the coverage of the Lockerbie disaster.

David Elstein is Chairman of openDemocracy's Board. He is also Chairman of the Broadcasting Policy Group. He is a director of Kingsbridge Capital Advisors, and a supervisory board member of two German cable companies.
