Friday is "Blog of the week" day, and today's suggestion is by openDemocracy contributor Phil Gunson:
The two blogs I most regularly read are CaracasChronicles and one by the engaging name of Chase me ladies, I'm in the cavalry.
I read CaracasChronicles because it's the most lucid and entertainingly written of the blogs I know that deal with Venezuela. It's often thought-provoking, and always properly-researched, rather than just viscerally pro- or anti- as so much of the stuff on the web is.
Chasemeladies is funny and politically incorrect, and its author happens to have spent quite a bit of time in Latin America (including Venezuela). He's a sharp observer with a knack of making me laugh at things I would otherwise barely have notice -- or have taken for granted.
