Danish editor shows caricatures of Christian and Jewish symbols

9 February 2006
Oh dear. Take a look at Jyllands-Posten's cultural editor Flemming Rose on CNN (scroll down for link) saying he doesn't regret publishing the cartoons (note the totally inappropriate sexual analogy). Rose then repeatedly holds up caricatures of Jesus and the Star of David. As if his newspaper didn't have enough enemies already... Meanwhile, the Danish newspaper Politiken insists Rose considered publishing anti-Semitic drawings from an Iranian newspaper. This guy is clueless. The chief editor attempts to clear up after Rose with his latest statement in English. Rose gets the Fiske treatement at the Independent.
