Free Josh Wolf, reprise.

Remember this oD today blog entry about Josh Wolf, the blogger/freelance reporter who was thrown in jail after he refused to hand out some video footage to court? His blog is still regularly updated by his friends, while Boing Boing relays some news:

"Interesting to note that the SFPD (San Fransisco Police Department) didn't bother to show up for the hearing, isn't it? In case it wasn't obvious, Josh is still in jail for refusing to hand over the video he shot -- but he's not silent, as pal Jackson West is exchanging letters (analog email) with Josh and transcribing Josh's mail into blog posts over at The Revolution Will Be Televised. There's a wiki, too.

Elsewhere: San Fransisco Chronicle's editorial comments on the Wolf case: "Each day he remains incarcerated represents another small dent in this nation's basic freedoms."
