Why has everyone in the (British) media been unable to resist damning the new Chronicles of Narnia film as "filthy CS Lewis propaganda masquerading as harmless, family fun" - even in articles unrelated to the film itself? It seems an all-too-easy (and lazy) option to use the film to express personal anti-christian sentiments however popular they appear.
