You might remember this open letter written by Danny Postel, which urged the liberation of Iranian-Canadian intellectual Ramin Jahanbegloo (Wikipedia link). He was finally freed from jail yesterday, after having spent four months incarcerated in Tehran. Ramin has previously written articles for openDemocracy.
