Keats summed up the experience of looking at the world with new eyes and an expanded vision of the possible. We may never be able to recreate this experience in today's shrunken world but is it possible to look with new eyes...?

The worldmapper site  promises "the world as you've never seen it before". Territory size is calculated on the global proportion of a wide range of categories - from fish imports
and exports, to Hydroelectric power and female managers.

The Refugee destination and origin maps are both puzzling and fascinating. (Plus it's always good to see north America shrink to a feeble sliver of land). There's a population 2300 map too.
