From the Washington Post: American political parties are honing their database techniques to target voters with more personal messages. Contacting voters and learning what they care about… an exercise in democracy? If only parties really did what they promised. It seems more like a shrewd game of marketing votes by any means possible. Read for yourself. Now a group close to Hillary Clinton is creating a private company to start up their own database to compete (?) with the Democratic Party’s.
