Politicians, lying?

Hungary's Prime minister, Ferenc Gyurcsany, admitted his party was "lying in the morning, lying in the evening" in order to win the general elections. And while politicians caught lying is hardly breaking news, the fact that a transcript of the leaked tape of his 'confessions' was made available shortly afterwards on his weblog (in hungarian) is a little bit odd. He nevertheless also posted an entry re-affirming his 'passion' for his country, along with 'his eagerness to convince socialists to launch necessary measures - very quickly'.
