Lucia de la Torre is a London-based journalist and documentary filmmaker. Lucia holds an MFA in Creative Documentary from University College London, and currently works at Amnesty International as a Producer, creating short-form video content about human rights abuses in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Prior to joining Amnesty, Lucia worked at the Financial Times' media production studio, and before that, as a Staff Writer covering Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia for The Calvert Journal. Lucia is also a freelance documentary filmmaker and has worked on short documentary productions independently and for broadcasters including BBC Our World, BBC Arabic and CBC.
