Dr. Saeed Al-Shehabi is a London-based political activist, journalist and commentator. He has lived in the UK for over four decades after being sentenced to life imprisonment in absentia by the Bahraini authorities. He was granted refugee status by the British government in 1985. His Bahraini citizenship was revoked in 2012 for leading the pro-democracy movement.
