Samelys López is running for election to the US House to represent New York's 15th congressional district. López has a bachelor's degree from Barnard College and a graduate degree from New York University, Wagner School of Public Service. She has worked as a congressional aide for Congressman Jose E. Serrano, co-founded the Local Democrats of NY, and worked as an activist with Housing Justice for All.
