Shadia Abdel Moneim is the political secretary of the Sudanese Communist Party branch in Germany. She is a feminist and human rights defender, especially of vulnerable groups. Shadia is one of the founders of a number of associations, initiatives and resistance bodies to the al-Bashir regime throughout the 30 years of his bloody dictatorial Islamist regime in Sudan. She worked closely with a number of women's and youth groups in conflict areas for peace and justice. Today, after the revolution, she continues the struggle with groups of Sudanese activists inside Sudan and in the diaspora in order to achieve the slogans of the revolution and establish a better reality for Sudanese people.
