Zakhar Popovych is the deputy director of the Center for Social and Labour Research (Kyiv, Ukraine) and a co-founder of the Social Movement NGO. His recent publications focused on the effects of the Ukraine-EU association agreement on the economic development and social conditions in Ukraine, including consequences for sovereign debt, taxation and transfer pricing. As a civil society and political activist, he is involved in solidarity and advocacy campaigns for the rights of unions and individual workers in transportation and metallurgical industries of Ukraine including right to strike and fair wage campaigns.
