Lula not coming to WSF

He was the hero of the World Social Forum in 2002, but since then Brazilian president Lula has fallen from grace. Perhaps less because of the corruption scandal than because of his economic policies. At last year's Forum he attracted a full house when he launched the GCAP, but rumours are still flying that he is persona non grata this year, and that is why he's not coming.
