Louis Bickford is a program officer at the Ford Foundation, with over 20 years of experience working in global human rights. Prior to joining the Ford Foundation in 2012, he served on the executive leadership team at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights and for almost ten years was a director at the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ). He holds a PhD from McGill University and a master's degree from the New School—both in political science.
