Alena Minchenia

Alena Minchenia is a doctoral candidate in Cultural History of Central and Eastern Europe at Lund University, Sweden. She is currently working on dissertation titled “To Be Called the People. On Emotional Stickiness, Protest Subjects, and Resistance in Belarus, 2015-2017”. Her research interests include studies of nonviolence and everyday resistance, anthropology of emotions, feminist theory and autoethnography.
