Allan Winkler

Allan M. Winkler is University Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at Miami University in Ohio. He has also taught at Yale and at the Universities of Oregon, Helsinki, Amsterdam and Nairobi. A prize-winning teacher, he is author of 11 books including Home Front U.S.A.: America during World War II and “To Everything There Is a Season”: Pete Seeger and the Power of Song.
