Andrea Baranes is Chair of the Fondazione Culturale Responsabilità Etica, the cultural foundation created by the Italian Ethical Bank (Banca Etica). He is the spokesperson of the Sbilanciamoci! campaign and the former spokesperson of the Italian campaign for a Financial Transaction Tax.
