Beppe Grillo

Giuseppe Piero "Beppe" Grillo, (born 21 July 1948) is an Italian comedian, actor, blogger and political activist. He has been involved in political activity since 2009 as founder of the Five Star Movement. At the 2013 general election the party won 25.55% of the vote for the Chamber of Deputies. The "Movimento 5 stelle" ("Five Stars Movement") thus became the largest party (but not the largest bloc) in the Chamber of Deputies.
