David Theo Goldberg

David Theo Goldberg is the director of the University of California Humanities Research Institute. Among his books are Racist Culture: philosophy and the politics of meaning (1993), Racial Subjects: writing on race in America (1997), Ethical Theory and Social Issues (1995), and The Racial State (Blackwell, 2001). He is the founding coeditor of Social Identities: journal for the study of race, nation and culture.
