Franziska Brantner

Franziska Brantner is Member of the European Parliament for Germany's state of Baden-Württemberg. She is the spokesperson for foreign affairs of the Greens/EFA group, a member of the foreign affairs committee and substitute member of the budget and women's rights committees. Ms Brantner graduated in political science with a focus on international affairs and European policy at Science Po in Paris and the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University in New York City.

European Right to Freedom Act

We should recognize that the national context and legitimacy is here to stay for some time. We might overcome it one day, but not tomorrow. We therefore need to develop a new approach that allows for combining the national more legitimately and more democratically with the European.
