Godofredo Pereira is an architect. He is currently developing a PhD on fetishism and the magical politics of monuments at the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths University. He is co-editor of Portuguese critical theory journal Detritos (www.revistadetritos.com) and regularly writes on the relation of architecture and power.
