Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi

Ugandan novelist Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi lives in Manchester, UK and teaches creative writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. This, her third book, is published in autumn 2020 as ‘The First Woman’ in the UK/Commonwealth and ‘A Girl is a Body of Water’ in the USA/Canada.
