Kaveh Basmenji

Kaveh Basmenji was born in Tehran in 1961 and lives now in Prague. He has worked as a journalist with Reuters and the Middle East Times as well as translating western literature into Persian. His books include (as editor) Afsaneh: Short Stories by Iranian Women (Saqi, 2005). Tehran Blues: Youth Culture in Iran.will be published by Saqi in September 2005.
