Matthew Johnson is Professor of Public Policy at Northumbria University and Chair of the Common Sense Policy Group. The Common Sense Policy Group recently published Act Now: A Vision for a Better Future and a New Social Contract and is publishing Basic Income: The Policy that Changes Everything (Policy Press) in spring 2025.
