Moritz Baumgärtel is a PhD candidate at the Perelman Centre for Legal Philosophy of the Université libre de Bruxelles and member of the Belgian research network Human Rights Integration. His research concerns the influence of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice on the precarious human-rights situation of migrants and asylum-seekers.
