Oscar R. Olivera is executive secretary of the Federation of Factory Workers in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He is also a spokesperson for the Coalition for the Defense of Water and Life, gathering workers, environmentalists, artisans, peasants, market vendors, neighbourhood organisations, and local governments struggling against the privatisation of Bolivias water supply.
