Roya Boroumand

Roya Boroumand is the co-founder and executive director of the Boroumand Foundation for the Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights in Iran. She has worked as a consultant for Human Rights Watch on women’s rights in Morocco and Algeria, and is currently working on an internet-based project to promote human-rights education in Iran.
