Shirin Saeidi

Shirin Saeidi, an Iranian American scholar, was awarded a PhD from Cambridge University in 2012. She has published articles in Citizenship Studies and Gender and History on gender and state formation in contemporary Iran and is based in Tehran, carrying out research on her book-length project, Insurgent Citizens: Theorizations of Democracy within Iran’s Hizbollah movement.
