Stephan Lewandowsky is a psychologist who has worked in the US and Australia on computer simulations of decision-making. Currently, he is based at the University of Bristol UK, the chair in cognitive psychology at the School of Experimental Psychology, focusing on the public’s understanding of science and why people often embrace beliefs sharply at odds with scientific evidence.
