José Luis Coraggio is Emeritus Professor of the University of General Sarmiento and Co-organizer of the Latin American Network of Social and Solidarity Researchers (RILESS). He has tought at many foreign universities, including the Colegio de México, the University of Pittsburgh and the Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales del Ecuador. He is currently researching the social and solidarity economy in Latin America and relations between hegemony and the economy under new left governments in the region. www.coraggioeconomia.org
