Laura Luciani is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for EU Studies of Ghent University. Her research examines how the European Union’s policies of human rights promotion in the South Caucasus shape and are shaped by local activists’ practices. She also writes for the Italian online newspaper East Journal and is a co-author of Kiosk, a radio programme focused on Eastern Europe.
