Noriko Hama is professor at Doshisha Business School, part of Doshisha University in Kyoto. Her many books on the Japanese economy include (with Josen Takahashi) All the Engines Stall: the Japanese Economy in 2015 (Toyo Keizai, October 2014). She writes regularly in leading publications such as the Mainichi Shimbun, the Japan Times, Les Echos and the Financial Times, and broadcasts frequently on Japanese and international media.
